Laura MacDonald received her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her MBA from the University of Connecticut. She passed the CPA exam shortly after receiving her degree and worked for several years as a Senior Auditor with a “Big Eight” international accounting firm, specializing in compliance audits mandated by government agencies.
Laura formed her own firm in 1993, specializing exclusively in performing audits and providing tax preparation services for non-profit organizations. She serviced the non-profit sector in this capacity for over 30 years before merging her firm with another small firm that also specializes in non-profit audits. Together, they provide the same high quality, low cost audits Laura provided prior to the merger.
